WORK DESCRIPTION
Project Engineer
The position is reporting to the local Manager for the Chinese office in Shanghai and the purpose of the position is to support the group for project work with below main responsibilities.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for communicating with yard after orders have been secured for specific projects.
2. Responsible for issuing approval drawings for Tank Management and sending in to class and yard for specific projects.
3. Responsible for issuing the approval drawings for Tank Cleaning and sending in to class and yard for specific projects.
4. Responsible for issuing the COW (crude oil washing) Manual and sending in to class and yard for specific projects.
5. To handle the required documentation of a project from order to final delivery.
6. Follow Scanjet standard procedure to support specific projects that are documented and delivered.
Qualifications
1. Overall English ability.
2. Background of marine industry and vessels’ construction with 3-5 years experience of project work.
3. Good knowledge and skill in AutoCad, Acrobat and Microsoft Office products.
4. Good knowledge of class requirements as well as other relevant rules and regulations applicable for the marine industry.
5. Background of both electric and mechanical are preferred.
6. Having sense of urgency and customer focus.
