Ship Recycling Engineer (f/m)
Stationed in Shanghai
Responsibilities:
• Develop the topic of ship recycling in the Asian region
• Assess dangerous substances inventories for the itinerant fleet and new builds
• Present to customers, and advise suppliers, shipowners and shipyards on the topic of ship recycling
Qualifications:
• Scientific or technical university degree
• Experience in handling hazardous substances an advantage
• Work experience in ship building and/or ship engine building a plus
• Excellent command of English, ideally some knowledge of Mandarin
• Independent, process-oriented work style with a high degree of personal responsibility
• Confident manner with customers
• Flexible team worker, able to work under pressure
